I have noticed on my spec sheet from the dealers that they have added superguard body and fabric protection, I never asked for this but is it worth getting or asking them to remove it.

Thanks

Are you sure you haven't been charged for it? This is one of the dealer add ons they make money on.

So to answer your question it will be fine but I wouldn't pay for it. And don't believe the hype, it won't last as long as they claim.

And DO NOT Ask the dealer to remove it as they will have some YTS kid with a mop hitting it with G3!!!!!!.......

Best thing to do is completely decontaminate the car and fully clay it, panel wipe afterwards, then machine polish any defects, finish waxing and se4aling it PROPERLY...............

You should notice the large cost on an invoice you have.....they will charge what they can get away with...normally between 250 and 400. Not bad bearing in mind you can get the paintseal for a fiver on ebay. The fabric protect is ok though, but so is scotchguard. It certainly is not as good as the dealer will tell you..its just another treatment that will need regular upkeep. As this 'lasts for three years and only have to jetwash your car' is a load of bolllox. I would personally use tardis to strip the stuff and then start from scratch.

As others have said, if you're not being charged for it then that's fine.
If they are charging you though, cancel it and either do it yourself with some proper sealant and stuff or just pay a recognised detailer to do a new car prep on it.
