Does anyone here know how to remove the B pillar (the one between the front and rear doors) piano black trim. I want to give it the carbon effect look and it'll be a better/easier job if I can remove it.

Thanks

Thanks Sandra, but no guide on there for removing the trim. I will have to use a bit of trial and error and hope I don't do to much error :)

Yep, I'll give it ago and take some pics. Hoping there is one in the local scrap yard that I can do a trial removal on before breaking mine :)

Right, no need for pictures really, removing the B pillar trims is simples.
Open front and rear door and at the base of the trim is a plastic cover this just lifts off (lift with a screwdriver from the bottom). Under this plastic cover is two torx bolts, undo the two torx bolts and slide the trim down off a plastic clip at the top and that's it.

It is easy, literally child's play. Took me about 2 minutes to remove each one.

When you say (lift with a screwdriver from the bottom) do you lift it up to the roof or towards yourself cheers

Towards yourself, if you have nails you can most probably do away with the screw drive, there is just one little pin holding the plastic cover on

Bump.

Do you know how the smaller rear triangle by the rear windows is held on, did you cover this also?
