  • Cheers John I'll try rubbing it down first I'm off work at the mo so I need to crack on with it!
    Hi sukhbinder,

With mine, and they were quite bad, I simply rubbed them down lightly with fine wire wool, however, I did paint mine with some Black/Silver mix POR-15 first, and then a coat of clear.

But I did Vito's and Moshops's recently and theirs were bad too. However, Vito brought with him some abrasive/scouring pads from Homebase and they were/are brilliant; so it was a rub over with those, de-dust and a light coat of clear.

If you need a little of the Black/Silver mix then I have some, and you'll not need a lot, otherwise just go with the clear… see Moshops's posted photos.

    Regards

    John
