    What have you done today?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271772351911 The best advice I can add is use a good soldering iron, plenty of soldering paste and a magnifier.

    What have you done today?

Cheers Steve. I've been repairing mobile devices, laptops, anything with a logic/mother board tbh, for years in my spare time so it wasn't to bad at all. I was a bit dubious regarding the quality of the LCD as it has a gloss finish and the original was mat but there's no issues reading the...

Will Mg Zt 18" Hairpin Alloy Wheels Fit My A3

Hi guys I need a bit of help with choosing a set of wheels. I have a 98 1.8t sport, I'm only planning on keeping it a few years then fingers crossed I'm going to join many others who have done the same and purchase a S3. As such I don't fancy modding a great deal or spending to much on it unless...

    Intermittent air-con

Air con fixed!!!!! After dismissing replacing any parts I sprayed a shed loads of wd40 in the grove where the clutch engages on the compressor plus re-greased aux belt tensioner, being carful not to get any on the belt. It's been working perfect since Tuesday with no issues at all. WINNER

    Intermittent air-con

I'm presuming you've got a 8P with you having econ. I'm not no expert but try these links they have/had similar symptoms, as for your whistle/while from the windscreen vent, personally it sounds as though the flap isn't opening fully and the whistle/whine is air passing through a small gap in...

    Intermittent air-con

Is the compressor spinning in the middle(clutch engaging) and the fans working when the air con is switched on but no cold air coming through? My initial thoughts were that mine was also temp related but If it is temp related surly the fans and compressor would stop, I'd bypassing the temp...

    Intermittent air-con

After two weeks of searching the web to no avail and thinking I'm the only one with the issue now there's three, I'm not sure about the whistle/whine as I don't get that, where does the sound come from? Plus is yours the same, fans and compressor clutch working as it should regardless of cold...
