Exactly the same as my experience 14 months ago. Multiple dealers just didn't seem to give a damn. No calls back no interest. I think with the PCP and HP models around there's not the same pressure to sell cars as there used to be because there's always an easy sell coming up.

Yep! Can't wait! I've gone for turbo red, and it's a S3 Vorsprung saloon. Very excited. Think the grey you've gone for looks very smart though - it was between the red and grey for me. Tough call but my dad had a red Audi 80 when I was a lad, so the red won for nostalgic reasons. Ok, at least...

My S3 Vorsprung is in build at the moment. Which dealer did you order with? I'll be furious if I don't get the Audi Beam as per spec and build sheet. Is it purely laziness/incompetence on the dealers part that they haven't been fitted in the PDI?

Yep, this was the early 00s too. It was my mum's old B reg Nova that had been sat in the garage for when I was old enough to drive. What I would say is to drive something that old and underpowered, plus the manual choke on cold mornings, really teaches you how to drive!

I tend to agree too. If I think back to mine and my friends' driving when we were 17/18/19 it's amazing we didn't have serious accidents, and I was driving a 1.0l Nova with a manual choke! It's natural that you're young and overly confident at that age, it takes a couple of near misses to scare...

I've got an S3 Vorsprung on order at the moment, but in for a long wait as only ordered in January. Did you go for the Hatchback or Saloon? Is there anything missing off the spec?
