thanks, I’d never really given it that much thought but that seemed to make sense. Just flipped my wife’s tyres back to front, she had 6 on the backs and 3 on the fronts after 3 years of driving. I would have just got new fronts but she’s not going to be driving too much in the upcoming year so...
Problem surely with letting them get to the marker is that then how do you know exactly what you have without measuring it manually. If your tyres are level with the marker that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re at 2mm. Once at the marker the marker will wear with the rest of the tyre, so you...
V V nice. They have really nailed the centre console - integration of the MMI screen is bang on, great lines. In the right spec this could be a car for me (never thought I’d say that about a bmw)
The same evidence that tells us every single food type gives us cancer then gets overruled about a year later with a new study saying actually these foods are all really good for us? It all comes from the same school of ‘I don’t have an f’ing clue’
Even buying new you can be assured stone chips/small marks etc are gonna happen and probably fairly quickly. I bought my car new a year ago and it’s littered in stone chips but it doesn’t bother me. Unless you’re up close and sniffing your front bumper like Jassy then you don’t notice them ;-)
Just arrived today from China - another 2 packs of foam applicator pads. The 24 pads cost me less than £3 from eBay, excellent pads and do the job and for that price I don’t mind discarding after one use. They’re from China and take a few weeks to arrive but for less than £2 a pack which...
Always possible I guess. I think maybe I use too much shampoo, it’s like what you might think would be left if you cleaned something with a soap and didn’t rinse it. Next time I’ll try wiping it all down with a damp cloth to remove more of the shampoo and then dry it after that.
Yea pretty much what I do, its like either the shampoo or the shield doesn’t dry clear. It’s not terrible but in certain lights it is noticeable. Like I say maybe just a damp cloth will sort it.
I use valet pro leather cleaner and brush and colourlock shield from advice on here. I do find I’m left with streaks after following the method though. Probably nothing a damp mf won’t solve tbf but still.
The aroma is identical to a ceramic coating? I may be crazy but I’ve never stuck my nose to the paintwork and gave it a good sniff :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:
Haha pretty much. Yea I think looking at it seems like it’s probably a bit impractical and/or very pricey. Could maybe manufacture something myself anchored from the house maybe but probably a bit of a faf. Best get myself a house with a nice big undercroft....I wish haha
