My new A4 Avant- The road to perfection!? Help?

I bought a touch up kit a while ago but it still sits in my glovebox, I WILL! get round to protecting the little patches. I'd like to sort the suspension at some point. Probably not lower or at least not the rear, but certainly tame the front end a little. I'll have to wait until the standard...

    window regulator or motor?

Use the parts request system, I've had 2 genuine ones off Mike for about £90 delivered a side. Had an ebay one, lasted a year....

A4 B6/B7 LED dipped beam conversion - installation and review (H7)

Ohh my bad, my mere halogen headlights have 2 access covers on the back and there's not much space behind either of the bulb mounting positions. Sounds good then if the halogens in the fogs are dimmed down as DRL's

Those projector units look nice, maybe a future upgrade. Surely those LED's will be too big to fit within the headlight. I'm not a fan for running fog lights all the time, I keep them for poor visibility.

My new A4 Avant- The road to perfection!? Help?

Simple things, but the start to getting things checked off the advisory list. First up, Bosch S4 096 battery about 69 quid from Car parts for less, treated the car to a new Bosch rear screen wiper whilst ordering too, no more upsetting the dog with it's squealing.

My new A4 Avant- The road to perfection!? Help?

Thanks muchly. It bugs me too but simply don't have 600+ to spend on genuine and proper paint job, it bugs me far less than looking at corrosion, paint flaking away, sunken paint and different colours on the same panel. (Yep the old ones were that messed up, up close) I searched for a year for...

A4 B6/B7 LED dipped beam conversion - installation and review (H7)

Yeh, I meant any pics of your HID install. Or was it the kit from RFL for 200 euros? This one? https://www.retrofitlab.com/en/audi-a4-b6-bi-xenon-mh1.html Yep I'm not doubting that a halogen projector is never going to perform as well as HID or LED specific headlights but these bulbs retro...

A4 B6/B7 LED dipped beam conversion - installation and review (H7)

I'm happy with my fogs as I barely use them, but have yellow tint on them for looks which I feel LED would ruin. Wahlstrom, did you retro fit bike units into them? Have you got any pics? I don't doubt LED isn't the greatest, it's certainly my best option at the moment though. I have a spare set...

My new A4 Avant- The road to perfection!? Help?

Good plan DrStrange, I need to find a touch up pen that's close to my colour, at least then it won't corrode and bubble. For the money you can't go far wrong Jimmy, they aren't a perfect fit but close enough for me. What happened to you is exactly why I don't want to spend out for genuine...

    Too much poke?

Agreed, looks little silly at the back in the video. I'm guessing the body mods are next on the list of things to do.

My new A4 Avant- The road to perfection!? Help?

Well it's been a while so where to start! In October after an op I wasn't able to drive for a while so was the perfect opportunity to get the car into a body shop to sort out the near arch and boot lid corrosion. Not overly pleased with the colour match but only noticeable when clean in the...

A4 B6/B7 LED dipped beam conversion - installation and review (H7)

The thought of wrapping the resistors with something did pass through my head but then thought it's still a lot of heat in there. So opening up the space and mounting to alluminium should allow the heat to escape somewhere. Now had the chance to upload some pics too....
