I was running AP coil overs quite low, with 10mm front and 13mm rear spacers, with VERY minimal rubbing from both front and back. I changed tyres on the rear and got a lot more rubbing. (Same tyre size. Just maybes a slightly wider sidewall)

Because that's what the carrier brackets are designed to work with. They're 340mm, compared to the 345mm standard discs (either work) but seeing as I needed new discs anyway, and these are cheaper than the 345s, that's why.
I've just come back from the Nurburgring last week, and discovered the inner edges of my rear tyres are scrubbed off. General consensus seems to be that my rear toe is out.

My mate thinks that the ecu isn't getting a live signal when the ignition is turned on. He says it needs a couple of lives to work. A battery live, an ignition live and maybes another.
The fact that it's not letting vagcom connect, is the reason he thinks one of the live signals must have been...
We did think that could have been a possibility, but it's been jacked up plenty times before without issue.
That would only effect the alarm/immobiliser though. This is showing a brake fault (although it won't tell you what) and it won't let vagcom connect to the car for some reason.
