Car magazine gave it a generally positive 4/5. Only real negative being a slightly uninvolving drive, but the interior, engine, chassis and all wheel drive more than make up for that.

Typical Audi order time is 3-4 months, like you've experienced before. However, some people are waiting longer than that for A3's, never mnd S3's yet. I'm wanting a car for October time and i'm finding it very hard to go coose Audi, simply because the delivery times are all over the place...

On the German website a basic 1.4 (122ps) manual looks to be 24,400 Euro, which is £20,763. The list price in the UK is actually £19,205. So I'd guess that a 38,900 Euro (£33,102) S3 might end up with a UK list price of just under £32,000. Still, spec'ing up to £46k might be possible.

I'm sure Auto Express have changed the availability from "On sale now" (which would have been April) to "July". Unless they can get the car out in 3 weeks once order books open, I might have to pass.

That's more encouraging (for me at least). Hopefully the S3 is starting just a touch over £30k.

My dealer today showed me their latest S3 update from Audi that basically said it'll be available to order and all info and prices revealed some time in June.

It does seem wrong and first. It was the same in the A1. It's because you think that you should twist the side of the wheel facing you down to scroll down. Which would be clockwise. But obviously sat in the passenger seat, this is like turning the wheel up, hence why it scrolls up instead.

You drive like an old woman? I don't know how many liters you're using exactly, but if it's about 50, then that's 43mpg. I'd say that's pretty decent for that engine, I wouldn't be disappointed.

$200 extra isn't so bad then. I think those'll look good with Daytona. They look good full stop though.
