Isn't week BW22 the start of the new model year? If so BW 21 sounds like a placeholder, i.e. the last BW in the model year, so the factory is likely rejigging their schedules and the actual date might come forward or it might go back!

I thought they would be diamond cut too as they're the same wheel as the Estorils on my MK8R and they're definitely diamond cut. In the video they really do look like stickers up close and also there's a darker shade of grey on the spoke as well.

They shouldn't be otherwise they're likely to come flying off whenever you get them cleaned with a jet washer! You are going to have to be pretty committed to take the chance that they can be removed without leaving a mark.

I've just been watching this video; and when you get to 1:53 he says that the alloys have stickers on them and therefore presumably they are not diamond cut. They certainly look like stickers and also on the German model shown the graphic is slightly different to the UK version being a darker...

Well as there's no solid black or white then perhaps it is.

You can't add much to a base RS3 so a Kemora, if it is free, Vorsprung is probably the way to go.

Surely Kemora metallic isn't free?

I have HUD on my MK8R and I really like it although I did have it on a previous BMW so I knew what it was like. You do tend to stop looking down at the dash as often so arguably it's a bit safer as you more likely to be looking ahead but you can turn it off if you really don't get on with it...

Other VAG brands which use ceramics do have reports of them squealing more than steels! Their other benefit of no brake dust, which would be particularly useful with the 10 Y spoke wheels, is lost on the rears.

No idea on replacement cost but they're not going to be cheap but should last for ages if not hammered. Still you'll only have to worry about replacing two as they're only on the front axle and not the rear.

Thanks. My minimum spec for a G8R is Lapiz, 19" and Winter Pack which is just a few £'s over the £40K tax threshold and I seriously object to paying nearly £500 a year to tax any Golf even if it is a nice one.

Where did you see that deal? Particularly the free upgrade to 19'' wheels. Thanks.
