Should really just add a quick update here..... I've learned in the last couple of weeks that the build week for my car has been scheduled as week 36. It was week 36/2021 that I ordered the car.....

Yep, change it every two years in all the cars. All brake fluid is hygroscopic ie it absorbs water from the atmosphere over a period of time, hence Jimbo's reference above to the difference it makes when changed.

So, a quick update... Whilst Audi are still not able to give me a build week, or indeed tell me when they might be able to give me a build week, 13.5 weeks after placing the order I've been told by my Dealer they have just been told all the Special Order cars will be built before 1st July 2022...

Well, no news, and nothing on the system. Dealer is going to talk to Audi UK tomorrow...

Sport Edition along with special paint job... I've been told that (almost) regardless of Model, the RS's are being batched together, and then within the Models the special paint orders are sub-batched together- if that makes sense. I'm off to the dealer tomorrow for something else, so I'll see...

I used to post on ASN quite frequently when I had my S3. It was (is) quite an active S3 section. When I ordered my TTS it was suggested to me that the TT/TTS/TTRS section was all but dead with very little activity in comparison to the S3 section. That was correct, and apart from the odd post...

Went from an S3 to the TTS. Only issues I ever had with the S3 were the infamous door rattle and a wheel bearing - both fixed under warranty. Apart from routine servicing, only issue I've had with the TTS in twelve months is that a window needed adjusting because of wind noise - again, sorted...

Having changed my email address recently, I had to go through the pain of re-registering all the MyAudi apps etc, but much to my amazement, having linked the car with the new registration I am now able to set destinations in the app and send them to the car. (I had also previously been unable...

Haha! Coming from the S3 section, the difference is "noticable" :rolleyes: (Other fora may also be available..... :wink: )

Another vote for Platinum Alloys here. They totally refurbed one of my S3 wheels a couple of years ago. Could never tell the difference.

And to the OP, in the 1356 days I owned my S3 it averaged 29.85mpg, measured on a "brim-to-brim" basis. Nerd or what! :rolleyes:
