Just got a couple of queries if anyone is able to help.
I have a 2006 A3 2.0 TDI Quattro and the leaking shock is the near side rear.
First, does anyone know if the rear shock is the same for the quattro as the 2wd?
And second best place to pick one up for a decent price other than the...
Been told i can leave it on for an hour and it resets.
I'll try that before the battery. If i unplug the unit completely that not the same as disconnecting the bat?
Cos that doesnt fix it anyway
Yes i have had an MOT. The lights were a slight issue but not because i dont have auto self level but because i think my nearside headlight is a LHD unit :@! I set the level of my lights using the adjusters which are on the headlights themselves. The control in the car doesnt do anything. The...
I retrofitted xenons but didnt install auto levelling and washers.
I know thats not what ur supposed to do but oh well.
Just bought a set of xenons off ebay, put a set of wiring adapters in and fitted them.
If you search around a guy did a write up how to remove the front bumper etc that...
Yeh just thought of a total crap but simple way to do it.
My mates brother is a mechanic and he has stuff that kinda melts and bonds plastic back together (dont know what it actually is) and that would probs have been the best way to fix it.
Used it to fix a bit of my taillight housing i...
No the horse was out in the field :P

I also have a sport and would like to lower. Currently have 18s and the car sits pretty high.
Only thing is mine is a 2.0 tdi quattro. Does that make a diff which s-line dampers i would need cos of the quattro?
Also not quite up to scratch how suspension works exactly lol, stupid q, what are...
Lol!
And just to say i fixed it today so far all working fine.
Very DIY job with a few bits i had lying around.
Lets just say it involved a drill, 2 paperclips, a bit of strimmer wire and a pair of pliers lol.
Done the trick!
Just had a quick look there and I can see the problem. I Was aware my damper was broke in some way b
the actual damper itself is fine just the but that attaches it to the gb has snapped. When I pull it out by hand the bulb comes on!
I guess I could maybe drill a couple of holes on each snapped...
Interior lights fuse is fine if that's the correct fuse. Didn't see any others that could be the fuse for it.
Need to check the damper but as I think it has disconnected too.
