There was a recall for early B9s because the seat back frame could break at the fixing points. Not sure what condition would cause this though, may have only been in severe impact.
What you’re describing definitely isn’t right and needs to be looked at. I would book it in.
I’m not sure if the issue is the same as others on here but mine I found it only happened when the seat angle adjustment was at its most extremes. Adjusting this stopped it
I agree that it’s a common fault not a norm. I had no luck with Southampton Audi and haven’t pushed anything with Audi UK. I’d be happy to join forces and back up your case though. The movement under braking is a bit of a safety issue imo as it is possible to lose control of the pedal...
Yeah that’ll be tricky. I was more thinking somebody who can make the damage less obvious rather than re-upholster. It’s not worth really doing anything else unless you are keeping the car for a long time IMO.
Mine had torn where the leather had been over stretched in the factory, so it was simple. Yours looks like damage so yeah, the only way you’ll get them to replace it is if you can prove they did it. You might be better off trying for a discounted service next time and getting a leather...
I have an ODBII dongle from my previous car with was a BMW. It seems like Carissa is quite cross compatible so I’m hopeful it will work with this. How do we get hold of beta versions? Do we need to install the iOS SDK and testing platform?
Anyone experiencing this still? My seat cushion moves by 0.5mm or so when stopping. Dealer says it’s normal because other cars have it, I told them it’s a widespread fault then not ok. Not sure how to progress this...
Does it not take the leather dye out as well? Is the sponge not impregnated with harmful chemicals? Sounds like no? I keep a pack of ‘Water Wipes’ for use throughout the car on the go and they are good, but the steering wheel doesn’t stay matte for long.
I find people flash even on my wife's A1 which has xenon lights. I think it's just because they are brighter than the norm. I get flashed in my A4 which has normal LED lights. The adaptive beam assist is a bit off sometimes. It flashes on and off sometimes which makes it seem like I am...
I've had my A4 S-Line avant from new year now. I transferred my personal plate onto it recently and noticed the V5C says 'B8' against model. Is this a typo or are others seeing this also?
I do 10k a year and 60% is on the motorway. I've just hit 10k miles and the car is a year old. The car says it doesn't need a service for about 8k or so miles. I'm totally unclear whether I should wait until then or not!
