Wow holy thread revival it's about a year and half old this post yeah it turned out somebody had replaced a fuse and put it back in the wrong place in the bonnet fuse box after lots of testing the bonnet catch can stop the wipers working and them silly hid headlights too
That's strange because my fuel gauge does actually seem to work I think it over reads slight but can't make my mind up but it does go the right way at least I can live with it really I only bought the car as a go between car after I sold my 3.2 a3 the seller told me about the faults just the ocd...
Hi Ive still got the cluster that was removed I didn't do the swap I bought the car like this im just trying to figure out the problem which has been explained above I have another cluster what was removed don't think it's original as its dated 2001 and the cars a 99

Hopefully I can't get to the bottom of this basically the car has had a cluster swap the cluster that's fitted is from a 2003 Audi TT it's fitted and working but ive got a few problems
Ive got oil sensor on the fis the car doesn't have one and there's no service interval adjustments or coding...
Very nice it was one of the best upgrades I did on my 8p made it feel much nicer inside and played MP3 you should fit oem aux input next buy the kit off eBay and activate it with vcds :)
No I don't think they did only 8l platform came with the old common rail 90 and 110 noisy engines they did a pd 1.9 105 bhp 5 speed non quattro and a 2.0 tdi 140 6 speed and a 2.0 tdi 170 6 speed quattro and non quattro
Im running witec by kw on mine height and damping adjustable although I don't think vags are the best handling cars and mine being heavy and haldex it's a good balance between performance and ride quality mine rides better than oem the tyres just tuck into the arch it sits very well mine are...

Of wire and add a link as shown in the pics it goes from DI SENS to +UB pins diagram is on top of the sterio or just use the pics it will work perfectly hope this helps post up your results
Not forgot about you mate I couldn't find my headunit pins before and had to go out I will get on it today while I'm cleaning the car sorry for the delay though
Same as my standard wheels was them should of kept them for winter really still quite a bit of arch gap so it will probably be fine can't get any fingers in mine so the arch hit the tyre on a 225 40 18 my arches are rolled all round with screws removed too
