    I apologise for even asking.

I've had it nearly 5 years and only things I've really had done are servicing/cam belt water pump, brakes, front wheel bearings, rear shocks, steering knuckle and chose to have the clutch changed. Can't complain with overall reliability with mine. Still like going on drives in it. I must be...

    I apologise for even asking.

Never thought about it too much. The trip computer says around 50mpg when driving to work. But, going by the tank being 65 litres and doing 550 miles to a tank. There being 14.298 uk gallons to a litre it comes out at 38.5mpg ....... pish.....lol. That disappoints me.....only mildly though...

    I apologise for even asking.

Just thought I'd add my 2pennies worth. I've got 170bhp 2tdi Quattro, with dtuk tunning box. Costs around £75 to fill my car up, brim to brim. Before the tuning box of get about 450 miles per tank..... 500 at a push (doing 60 - 65mph). With the box fitted I now get 550 + miles doing 70mph...

High biting point on clutch 2.0tdi

Can't hurt, I guess. I'm no car mechanic, but as long as its done correctly I wouldn't of thought there'd be an issue.

High biting point on clutch 2.0tdi

My previous car, mk1 seat Leon fr tdi, I could tell the clutch was wearing as the biting point got higher over the years. (on the peddle). On my 2tdi b8 I got clutch, flywheel and cylinder changed as it started to slip under heavy load in higher gears. Also I did think the biting point was...

    Help Please Clunking drivers seat

Not meaning to sound condescending, but are the bolts on the rails fully tight? That's all I can think.....

    My little project......

It does mate, it's redicylous. Everything fits under the factory b&o amp in the boot too. I've had the peddle box and dtuk box for a little while now and think it's at a place I like. Definitely a good gain in fuel economy and noticeable power gain. Feels better through gears, especially the...

What kit was it? Do you have a link or know what the leds are?

    Ambient lighting

I know there's threads on here references a4 b8 ambient lighting and retrofit, but I can't find anywhere what type of leds are in the front centre lighting unit above the driver and passenger. The ones I'm looking for are the red ones that dim with the dimmer switch. I'd like to change them for...

    Grill change advice?

I've recently done mine mate as bellow. Not painted the crash bar yet as I didn't remove the bumper. It can be done without removing the bumper off, but was a pain in the a** if I'm honest. Especially in the snow. The only thing that runs across the bar was parking sensor wires. Also you need...

    Help Please Oil level problem

Don't know why but in my tinny little mind I thought that the engine cover stuck out further than that. Thanks for the post though, much appreciated

    My little project......

So today I had my first run in the car with the new dtuk tuning box, where I knew what the mpg should be (according to the trip computer, which I know isn't the most accurate). So normally the 41 mile journey gets me around 46mpg, driving normally and not mashing my foot to the floor. Today I...
