From what I can see they look ok ,the lock mechanism is clicking and you can feel it trying to open when I put my hand actually on the lock mechanism inside the door so power must be getting to it . I spoke to tps and suggested it may be a faulty new lock but got told to jog and and no refund on...
Is this something you are equiped to fix mate ? I know cost is dependent on fault but if it’s not the lock I’d sooner get the fault found and fixed rather than throwing stuff at it ,broken wire would be the best outcome I presume
Think I’ll have to strip wiring down and have a look ,being intermittent I thought it was more the lock at fault than wiring,I’ve look at the look that goes from the pillar into the door and it looks ok from what I can see ,I presume the next point of call will be the wiring inside the door...
My rear off side door lock has been intermittent with unlocking for a while from the outside ,purchased a new genuine part and I’ve still got the issue ,looked as best I can at the wiring into the door and looks ok ,any other things to look for ? TPS are refusing to taking the £227 lock back...
BGB ,I spoke to kmb and they said get the delete kit although I’m sure they said a different kit before ,the delete kit is in getting quotes of 1500-1600 fitted
As per thread title ,I’m about to get the balance shaft mod done as a precaution,I’ve heard stories it’s ok if maintenance is always carried out and I’ve heard stories it still fails no mater what so I’m going to get it done for peace of mind .
My question is which kit to use ,I’ve got a choice...
