When I bought my car I noticed a receipt in amongst the bills and history for changing the lights over for travelling into europe. It's not mentioned in the manual so I'm assuming this has to be done with specific software? Damian

Thanks. In the end the AC failed as well, so i bought a recon compressor, new condensor, pressure switch and receiver/drier and my mechanic sourced a new waterpump. Total cost for all of that with him fitting it was around £1300 I added a few photo's of the waterpump itself etc here...

Just replying to myself to help keep anyone else who come across my issues up to date; Replacing the AC compressor was 5hr job according to the info my mechanic looked up (Engine removal is a 13hr job) Cost me around £800, but that also included him buying a new waterpump with bolts and seals...

Looking like the compressor unit has failed on my 2010 S6. Is this a complicated job to removal and install? i.e. Can it be done just removing the front end and/or the engine undertray, or another engine out job? Thanks

I'm having real trouble finding places that have the correct front brake discs (385mm) for the C6 S6 5.2. Does anyone knwo the OEM< part numbers and/or have any recommendations for aftermarket parts This is within the UK. Thanks Damian

Been informed by the dealer that the water pump has a slight leak and will probably need replacing as well as seals etc. Is this an engine out job or just complex and fiddly? Dealer wanted £2k to do it

Thanks. That was it. There is a space that *looks* like the socket should fit in it near the back of tool tray but it wouldn't. Never occurred to me to check underneath the towing eye.

Does anyone have a picture of the exact location where the locking wheel nut fits in the rear panel of a C6 audi. I have the nut, but it doesn't seem to actually fit in any of the cutouts. A picture if anyone has one would be great thanks
