The indicators on my 2002 S3 have started to play up.
If you indicate they seem to signal for 2/3 seconds and then just stop - it doesn't make any difference whether it's left or right.
The fuse is fine and l'm fairly sure the bulbs are OK, so l guess there must be a suspect indicator relay...
Despite regularly replacing my wiper blades (usually with decent Bosch) they are noisy - squeak, etc. and it's really annoying.
Also, last night whilst driving in the rain l noticed the drivers side was almost 'lifting' off the screen and not clearing the screen - actually quite dangerous...
Got a Brembo front brake fitted to my 2002 S3 a few months ago and left all the original brakes in a box in my shed. However, we're moving house soon so the Management Committee has "suggested" l sell them rather than lugging 'yet more car parts' to the new house. Bless her !
So, someone make...
I must be fairly close to you (Hazlemere) and l claimed against Wycombe District Council last year and although they denied liability, etc. l threatened them with legal action and eventually they paid out over £700 so if you genuinely feel your claim is valid then keep pursuing it and don't let...
l have also emailed Storm Development and although l got a very swift, efficient reply from Custom Code, l didn't get any reply or phone call from Storm so l haven't bothered contacting them again.
They must have so much work they don't need any new customers !!!
Might be a stupid question (so I apologise if it is) but if my 2002 S3 is now out of warranty, will the Stealers still replace coil packs free of charge?
Thanks for your detailed reply Kev.
Firstly, with a SPS3 l thought you could adjust mode 4 which is 'fuel' (my SPS3 is 2 years old and doesn't look like the latest one).
If it isn't adjustable, what setting do you suggest l leave it on or doesn't it matter?
l haven't had the car set up...
I think l'll increase the Boost setting one point at a time and see what happens.
l don't have the "yellow engine management light flash on the dash".
l've replaced the plugs with new NGK's fairly recently. It doesn't feel as 'obvious' as an actual misfire so don't think it is a coilpack(s)...
I was wondering what settings you are using?
I've played around with several settings, but still get "fluttering/very slight hesitation" particularly in 3rd gear hard acceleration. It feels like the ECU is pulling back the timing a little. I'm fully aware this had been discussed countless...
Turns out the compressor has failed - that will be the same one Audi replaced under warranty last January.
At least l get a nice cup of coffee from them, my car valeted and the chance to hoon around in their courtesy car for the day !!!
