Oil consumption doesn't seem too high for age of the car 2010. It appears to be gathering in the left hand side i'm unable to get the undertray off but it's leaking out of it...
Hello, just to update this I found the issue.
Unfortuantely I ruled out a boost leak by during a vcds test of requested + actual boost pressure.
Because I was getting the requested I *ASSUMED* it wasn't possible to have a boost leak...
As this issue became worse under full load I should have...

Seems leak in the turbo outlet pipe that connects to the charge pipe from the turbo.
Where can I get a replacement for this? is it easy enough to DIY, or do you need to access it from under the car?

I can find nothing online about p2178... I don't understand how the short term fuel adjustment goes to high - % when I use throttle.
If it was a boost leak it wouldn't be apparent while i'm rev'ing in N as in N gear the turbo doesn't spool, right?

Previously I was getting P0441 and P0172 thanks to your advice I replaced both carbon canister and the n80/evap valve and resolved the P0441.
I am still getting the P0172 and hope you can help - it sends engine into limp mode occassionally when I use WOT.
