Fixed, if anyone wants to know. The sensor that plugs into the front of the dpf the cable has split, put it back togther nd everything cleared and power again.

Turns out now the fuel filter is full to the point where it has actually bulged the top of the filter out. Still turning over and not starting, every so often you may get it to start and be able to rev it up slightly and then just cuts out again. No fault codes on VCDS as well.

So after the full engine replacement, the car ran and drove but always had a slight miss fire under medium acceleration, if you were careful with the throttle it would be fine. Then then car had no power at all and started slowing down then came alive again, drove another few miles and then it...

Yeah it doe, its 800wrms. Its more to do with it being in a sealed compartment, as you say if you drop the seats its clearer. If you had a ski hatch and opened that it should sound the same as dropping the seats. Subs don't really like saloons as much due to the boot setup. Mines in an avant so...

I ran another amp for the sub, all wires are hidden under the carpet. Sounds really good as it gives the low down bass and the original sub gives the higher frequencies. Had it all fitted by my mate.
