I had a look at the pictures- is the grey line where you filed?- mines completely smooth- will try to upload a picture (seems to be catching on the edge where the paint has worn away slightly)
I have the same problem with mine- I opened the flap but can't see the strips you mention the stand proud- there is piece that the washer nozzle pushes against but it's smooth on all sides- I can't see any ridges- can you help? Thanks

Well, a guy from Chipsaway looked at the car today and tried glueing a spigot to the dent and pulling it but to no avail. Cant get at the dent from the light cluster as the fuel filling pipe is in the way - So looks like he's going to have to drill (which he is hesitant to do) - 2 options - 1...
Hi Rich, its a 5 door - the dent is about 2" from the lip of the door and about 6" above the wheel arch - I would guess its too far from the light cluster? I am also wondering if it might be accessible from drilling into the wheel arch?
Im thinking that the chances of neeting to call upon the warranty are pretty slim (I only plan on keeping the car until its out of its 3 year warranty)
