Just moved back to the Sussex area (Brighton) after a 20 year absence. My A4 will be 3 years old at end of March 2022 so it’s MOT time and probably an oil service (had a major service at two years). Anyone recommend an audi deadler in Sussex for this kind of work ? Thanks

(Just to confirm that mine took 3 weeks for the recall work to show on my Digital Service Record on “My Audi” - as the post a couple above would suggest. Dealer had told me 48 hrs).

Thanks. Checked - nothing on there. Spoke to the service dept - 48 hours apparently. Alternator Recall work can take anything from 25 mins to 3 hrs dependant on model, apparently.

Went into the dealer’s today. Got a call in about a hour that it was all done. I was a little sceptical, perhaps unfairly, that it was completed in that timescale given they had outlined the Covid “cleansing” procedures pre and post any work they do and, in addition, it had a “health check” (or...

Had my MY19 35 TFSI for approx 10 months now. Long term average is 45-46 MPG. On longer trips (for example a fairly regular 280 mile journey to family in Brighton) I get around 53 MPG (pootling around 70 on the Mways) and that’s with a pretty full load (dog, dog crate, luggage and, oh, my wife)...

Did you book a first inspection? Wondering if I should jump the gun (or can).

Has this been mentioned on here ? Had the letter through this morning. Recalled but they don’t have the parts yet. Affects A4, A5, A6 and Q5 models with above engine. Advises not to park the car in a garage, car port or multi storey as a precautionary measure !

Well here’s one from when I stopped off on the test drive - they let me go out on my own, which was good. Glacier White wouldn’t have been my first choice but always thought white (black edition) suits the Avant more than some colours somehow.

It’s looking like the cost to change is ultimately going to favour the car with the tech pack so looking like a bit of a no brainer once I’m “over” the mileage. In addition, I could be pushing 7k CTC difference on what a MY20 facelift would cost me (CarWow). Realise the residuals are going to...
