    B8 3.0tdi - steering rack issue? Clonking and noise when braking?

    Did you get to this issue sorted? I have the exact same issue with my 2014 2.0tdi B8 avant with 72k miles. Had all the arms done recently but the knocking and clicking persists. Mechanic suggested running it till it worsens which I’m not overly happy about but the problem is not obvious to him...

    Does this sound like lower control arms?

    Did you get your issue with the creaking sorted? I’d say my 2014 A4 avant has the same or similar issue. Not had it looked at yet as it general gets worse or louder when the cars warmed up and that’s not that often currently. Cheers
