Hi, a few months on and its still running great. Didn't bother cleaning the egr valve out in the end.

Well 6 hours later, the new fuel injector and glow plug harness is in, new camshaft cover gasket is in, new tyre is on and car is back together running like a dream. Thanks to Gary for coming to scan it with VCDS and thanks to everyone who helped me sort this out:D

Thanks guys, the Ross-tech site advises to change the harness before the injectors so I think I'll head down to the dealer tomorrow and order one. Does anyone know the part number? Is it 03G 971 033L?

Thanks guys, I'll check out the egr and throttle at the weekend. I put some redex injector cleaner in with the last tank of shell and it seemed slightly better at the time. Could have been because it was warmer weather at the time as its only noticeable when its less then 20 degrees outside.

Hi all, I've recently noticed a strange problem with my 53 reg A3 2.0 TDI BKD 140. When the engine is cold, it has a reluctance to accelerate under load from around 30 mph to 70 mph. It does eventually start to, but after a lot of juddering, as if its not getting enough fuel. The problem...

Nice one mate, looks good. Just got back in from installing the tuning box and my god what a difference it makes. Its only on the default setting but the car feels more urgent. Will have a proper play around with the settings tomorrow after work :D.

Relatively simple job to fit it, purchased it straight from the dealer as was fed up of waiting for one to come up on ebay. You can get one much cheaper from FK automotive but that one is matt black as compared to this one.
