Have these car got swirls flaps? Are they common to break?

when starting the car I some times get a funny ping/vibrating noise for first second of starting the car. There is also a tapping noise on the right side of the engine when I stick my head over the engine. Any I dead where to start? Thanks

What does the odd torx screw do? Is it possible you have to unbolt the whole unit rotate it and with the reservoir at the bottom unscrew/take it off and top it up? Remember on an escort convertable misses had was something like that

Just bought a tfsi Quattro and when I take oil filler cap off the car idles really bad. Read on here could be sign of bad pcv. This car wl need to serve me for couple years so is it worth buying the aluminium blanking kit as sold on eBay? Or is there a site sponsor I can get one from? Or just...
