Not my Audi. Just bought a 2007 Passat estate with a 2.0 BKP engine as a runaround for the dogs.
No loss of power, no errors on VCDS. No smoke. Is this a vacuum/exhaust leak or is the turbo going to implode imminently? Wanting to drive it to Spain in...
My car (2.0 TDI BKD) has hunted at idle ever since I've owned it. Tried adjusting idle level to no avail.
I noted that whilst at idle, VCDS shows a value of 455mg/str (normal range 100-300). However this doesn't throw an error. I get around 500 miles to a tank and it's mapped by Darkside at...
Then why does the signal drop the further away from an urban area you are (in general)? If you go into the middle of the Scottish Highlands, your GPS signal generally isn't going to be as good (or lost) as it is in London. Just speaking anecdotally of course.
Sounds like a bad connection on the affected LED. Would be a PITA to remove and resolder I'd imagine as the clocks are pretty fiddly- if you do dismantle them be careful as when I had the clock set out, my dog knocked the speedo needle whilst being boisterous and it didn't work at all afterwards.
My Android GPS antenna works fine in the space between the two central dash vents, haven't lost signal yet. However may move it to the A pillar, via the space behind the glove box for even better reception when I'm in very rural areas or driving in Europe.
I don't have BT via my MFSW, just...
Do you know whether these modules support the MFSW for the 8V single stage airbags? As that's my planned next retrofit. Was under the impression that so long as it's LIN 1.3 it will work.
I bought the car with a dual stage airbag 2 years ago sadly, not knowing at the time...until I went about...
I'd read exactly that hence buying the parts. My part numbers are the basic lowline modules according to Ross Tech. They have no letters at the end; my control module is 8P0 953 549. My slip ring is 1K0 959 653. After adding the wiring/coding for steering controls it all lights up and works. The...
Also for anybody reading this thread in the future, I've managed to do the white DIS retrofit and MFSW using the original lowline steering wheel control module and slip ring to my 2004 car. All I had as standard was cruise control. Try your original parts first as I wasted over £100 buying the...
I also run an Android 4.4.4 HU and love it. You can use HiLo convertors for the rear speakers to get full power, as the issue is that the amplifier isn't powered, so you just get around 20 watts. I get around this by altering the bias to a 30/70 front/rear split and it's fine. But if you're a...
Audi said that it was to reduce fraud as they can't adjust mileage, so people could have them coded and not seek another specialist to correct mileage. They could just do the lot I'm sure.
Call me cynical but TBH I'm thinking that it's because they make a few dozen quid on coding a used...
I'm doing a white DIS retrofit on my A3; it all works fine when connected. Just needs coding to the immobiliser.
My speedo and rev needles no longer work in my current clockset and MOT is due.
After buying all of the parts and sorting the additional wiring, Stoke Audi have just phoned me to say...
