Hi All, I have a BFB engine in a 1.8t Quattro that's just had a new turbo, cat fitted. Over the last few days I hear a Leak on acceleration from the exhaust. If I rev the engine slowly there is no noise but if I rev it hard there sounds like a leak in the exhaust. The noise goes away when the...
I need some suggestions for cleaning my grey cloth seats, I have 4 year old and I took out the seat yesterday, the seat is stained with food. I have cleaned it before but it left a water stain, tried foam cleaners but they are rubbish, Anyone had similar problems?
Hi Guys
I am looking for someone to remap the A4 as it has a new K03s fitted inplace of the standard K03 but ideally in the area of Inverness. Also does anyone know what power increase return I can expect with the new turbo?
The car is a 1.8T Quattro SE 163 BFB engine with the K03s Turbo.
Cheers
Ok finally sorted the problem,
NOT the Timing being out!
ECU had detected a camshaft sensor fault which I replaced today, the P0340 code was generated by the ECU as a result of the P0011 code for the camshaft sensor.
Fault was with the air intake pipe on the turbo, the clip had come loose...
Ok fitted a new camshaft sensor but still starting and dying off, I have disconnected the battery for now to try to reset the ecu. The car did idle for 1 minute but then died off, no fault codes coming up now but the code tool is showing a amber exclamation mark.
Any ideas anyone? really puzzled,
Ok defo no play in the belt but the fault code was the camshaft sensor, so going to change that first, I own a motor parts shop so i can get parts at a trade price.
Ok probably skipped the timing is it something I can do myself with help or is it a garage job and when the drive belt slips does it go a tooth back or forward or is it a guess????
When i got the replacement turbo the wastegate was connected to the housing on the front of the turbo. But the mechanic used the original pipework to the N75 valve, could this be causing the fault?
