It auto dips when your getting dazzled by headlights from cars behind you. Pretty sure it was an optional extra. (Standard on SE).

I think its very unlikely to be a leak as it occurs as random times where as a leak would either be always at a specific rev range or a dimished power throughout. I think its most likely to be a fault in the ECU programming. Do all the people have the same model / engine codes ?

This by the sounds of it is exactly the same problem I've been having for the last year.. and AL B I posted it a while back and didn't really get anywhere. If you do ever find out what causes my missus would love you forever as shes the one that nearly hits the dash when it happens
