I have put these in the classifieds here but thought I'd make a post in this section for a bit more exposure. These were on my wife's A3 which is now sold and are in great condition, there are a couple of photo's and more details in the ad but any questions please feel free to ask here.

Having now sold our A3 I have found an unused Dr Color Chip kit in Dolphin Grey. If you haven't heard of Dr color chip then have a look here: http://www.drcolorchip.com/ This is a complete and unused 'road rash' kit which cost me over £50 delivered to the UK, looking for £30 delivered.

You should still have paint and corrosion warranty so worth calling the dealer.

You should try a warranty claim before paying for it yourself.

It's a turbo dynamics one bought and fitted from JBS. Turbo itself was £900+vat not sure how much the labour was as other things were done at the same time.

A camper as my wife doesn't need a daily driver anymore as we care share in the A6 now.

Make sure you send the certificate back though or they can charge you until the day it is posted. The address you need to send to should be in the paperwork you already have.

That didn't happen on ours until it went completely, however before that performance, economy and starting were all effected. I think it depends how it fails. If your car seemed uneffected it was probably fully open when it stuck.

Yes and there are 2 of them. No.1 resets itself between journeys if the ignition is off for a set time (2hrs IIRC). No.2 is user reset by holding down the bottom button on the right stalk whilst that function is selected. I tend to reset this each time I fill up along with the odometer so I can...
