Guess I am just being thick then

I've had my PHEV A3 for a few months now and there's been 3 or 4 times that I've accidentally left the charger flap open and driven off. Usually when I'm in a rush and just pull the charger cable out without thinking. I'll then only notice when I get to where I'm going and see it wide open...

Not yet. Been in the office all day today. Which was nice to get to drive it there. But then it was late getting back and then home life takes over. I'll get some on at the weekend. I will say I'm loving it so far!

Yeah that's the Leeds dealership. I'm in Liverpool as well so like an hour and a half

Just had a call confirming the details for delivery tomorrow and they've said it'll just be driven over to me. Not on the back of a flat bed. So I'll probably have to give it a good clean when it gets here to get itlookinf brand new :chargrined:

So that's 6th November build week then? Well mine was 9th October build week, landed in UK 10th November. It might be best to think more in those terms. Like I say you could get lucky but it could also be a couple more weeks yet

I got an update that my car was waiting to be shipped on 3rd November. But I had to chase for this so not sure how long before that it was actually waiting for. Then mine shipped on 10th November. So I'd say you're more likely to be on a ship next week. You could get lucky though. When was...

I assumed it'd be on the back of a flat bed, but don't know for sure. To be honest I'll be a bit ****** off if someone else has driven it all the way here from Leeds. I'll report back next week.

Didn't realise picking it up was an option. Although I don't know if I'd want a 2 drive home on the motorways on my first ever time in an automatic with about 100 more horse power than I've ever driven before.

Had a call from my dealer this morning and my car is now booked in for delivery to me next Wednesday.

Well I ordered back in March and didn't get a confirmed build week until end of September, which was week 41, or 9th October, which was less than 2 weeks after they confirmed. So the build weeks can move right up to just before if they're still unconfirmed. Since then it's gone fairly quick for...

Yeah...finally. Its felt like a long 9 months. Can't wait for the upgrade from what I'm driving round at the minute, haha

Just had an update that my car is now at the UK port awaiting transport to the dealer, which can take up to 10 days, and then they'll organise delivery. Had a check on what's come into Grimsby recently and I think the last vehicle carrier was actually on 10th, so fingers crossed it could be...

Ah right. Cheeky . I would've thought mines still sat in Emden anyway so I might leave it till Monday and see if I can get another update on it then
