I enabled easy entry and the seat bolsters 'deflate' to allow fat people easy access to the seat. You should hear a funny sound every time you open the driver door if you've selected the seat bolster to be nice snug.

Does the storage pack also give you the second glove box to the right (uk) of the steering wheel?

Also agree it's not the ECU. Mine is perfectly fine now, so persist in getting the master tech to look at the steering sensors, wiring loom? Sorry that's as far as my tech break down goes but it can be fixed!

Agreed. No idea why people buy a v6 turbo then fascinate over mpg. I'd poeitly suggest perhaps a diesel golf would be better suited for such a fixation.
