I got about 21k out of my set of p zeros which included a few laps around the Nürburgring- I’m now on Michelin PS4s and they are a massive improvement over the Pirelli with regards to grip, comfort and road noise

I used to run pilot super sports on my RS4 and they were by far my favourite tyre so I wanted to try the Michelin’s on my s3 - also Evo magazine did a tyre test last month and they were using the exact tyre size I needed 235 35 r19 - and the PS4s tyres came out on top - they look a bit chunkier...

It was finally time to change the Pirelli p-zeros that came with the car this week - I have gone with Michelin ps4s this time and so far so good - i eeked over 21k Miles out of the Pirelli’s including a few laps around the Nurburgring so cant complain about that

Yeah the repairers (harwoods body shop) did a really great job, it’s literally like new again :-) so glad to have it back. I’m still waiting on the insurance to decide liability but they said that can take weeks so I’ve paid up the excess for now and hope I can claim it all or least half of it...

Just the two doors, a bit of a scratch on the rear arch and a scuffed back wheel - I actually didnt think to take any pics of their car. I think there will be cctv which will show what happened plus a witness so I’ll just let them work it out Thanks mate :-)

Haha very true, I just won’t go round that side of the car until it’s fixed! I’ve taken it to the Audi body shop for an estimate and they reckon £2.5k - £3k - annoyingly I have to pay more excess on my insurance if I don’t use who they want me to but I don’t want any body fixing it - I think...

Yeah they were reversing and turning slightly and not watching where the front of their car was going which was straight into the side of mine :-( I just panicked and leapt out to try stop them, didn’t even think about being in gear or anything like that. I do think it’s bad the parking break...

To be honest mate prob just habit of older style handbrakes, I actually didn’t even know it would auto release when you first reverse back so always just press the button after putting it in gear - wish I had of known lol

I have had an indicated 144 out of my standard 2017 s3 saloon it still had a decent amount of pull left but i ran out of road lol my old MRC RS4 I got an indicated 190 on the autobahn and it felt solid :)
