Just wondering if there are any potential problems to having this without a switch to turn it off? What if the car broke down, ignition worked but engine wouldn't start and i needed to be towed/winched onto a truck? Could the brakes be switched off? Edge case i know but has happened before.

Thanks. Not had any treatment on the windscreen and they just make a noise at the point they change direction. I wonder if it's the rubber contact strip moving from one side to the other. Is there any type of adjustment possible?

I fitted some Bosch A864S wipers today (sportback) and they make an irritating noise when they change direction at the top and bottom. Used them for about an hour and a half in constant rain today and it didn't get any better. Anyone experienced this?

Update: Taken the car back to the garage twice. First time they checked the seating, bushes and nuts which were all ok so greased up various bits with the suspension in situe. No joy. Second time they took it all apart, greased up in the top mount, reassembled and bingo. So it was either the...

@JohnnyBr if you want to swap your diffuser for a single then id be up for that. I have a 1.6 TDI sportback s-line with single tailpipe diffuser and looking for a double you see. Getting very confused on part numbers on ebay with differences between 3dr and 5dr!

My rear wiper is making a horrible judder/squeal, any ideas to fix it? Is there a way to dial in the alignment or should i try a new blade or even treating the rubber?
