Mine is still on its way to Emden :( Nearly 10 days stuck on code 30 now!
 
Unbelievable....... car is already at the dealers...... they just sent me a video presentation ..... yeah baby!!!!!!!

Can’t wait..... might pick it up on Thursday:yahoo::racer:

Wasn’t it just on a ship last night? Was that the tracker being slow?!
 
Yes according to the coded thingy it was.....so strange one... but I don’t ****** care..... lol
 
It’s all come abit quick if I’m honest.... lol... gotta get them my new private plate... sort insurance too...... I will be busy tomorrow..... work will suffer......: oh well

So from point of order it’s taken about 6 weeks in total.... I’m very happy with that!!

Weird.... but the car is definitely at the dealers as I have a video of it there with all the wrapping intact

The tracker is normally 2-4 days behind when it arrives at the dealers at least.
 
Tracker is a waste of time and a gimmick.

Disagree - the tracker was ahead of mine - it showed as delivered before it arrived at the dealer - although it was later that day.

The tracker is accurate after it leaves the factory through the process of getting to emden and on the boat - then it can take longer to update than to be delivered depending on how close the dealer is. Also before that its all automated.

However that’s not to say it doesn’t stop working occasionally - so if your car is at the dealer then great. The best way is to ask the online support as they have better tracking.

Hm strange, well commonly it seems to be behind.

As much as everybody is saying the production part is automated, if it flicks over to panel shop tonight I know that they have started it because it’s early. I need updates :( haha

Damn :( Mine hasn’t gone into Status 21 :’( Seems to be every car goes into 21 the Thursday before build date, but unless the tracker is late updating (all line updates seem to come bang on midnight) I don’t know why it hasn’t gone in.

All this suspense is killing me...

I think we have all been on some sort of roller coaster ride with our good friend @AudiNutta

I love it.. it is exactly how I would have been at your age.
I had to wait until I was 22 to get my first brand new car, a Renault 5 GT Turbo. In it's day, the fastest turbo hatchback.

The day came to pick it up from a pickup point in the City after work. I was damn excited, as you well can imagine, and I invited my girlfriend to join me and go home in it together.

Ah, looks great in gleaming new red, lovely smell of new cloth.
I got into the heavy City traffic, lasted 5 minutes and it broke down.
It hadn't been given a chance to charge properly in the stop0-start traffic.
Had to be picked up by a flatbed and saw it again the next day...

:) Have to laugh.
I hope you all have much better pick-up luck than I did.

Just had a chat with Audi UK to see whether my order is actually "locked in" and appears it is, as a result of speccing Exclusive Paint. Shame as I wanted to add TPMS. I'm told that my build week has changed from week 49 to week 3 but still can't get onto the tracker.

Yes it has definitely been a rollercoaster, you haven’t been here long you don’t know half ;)

Extremely excited now, I wish I was there! :(

Broke down 5 minutes later, what a way to ruin the mood haha!!

Yes Exclusive orders are locked, because even if you cancel with your dealer that car cannot be cancelled. Once you’ve ordered an exclusive car and it sent to the factory, that car will be built regardless of who says what.

But, here is some good news for you! It’s been done twice for me and it can be done for you. Your dealer can send an application off to the factory to change spec, they can do this and don’t let them tell you they can’t! If it was major like colour change, the factory can decline. But, I’ve managed to remove the driver assistance pack first time around and then second time I added the titanium wheels.

Thanks, I'll see how desperate the other half is for TPMS and then decide whether I want to put more pressure on the dealer.

Do you know how the TPMS options work? The car will already have TPMS but for loss of pressure, but it works through the ABS sensors and tells you when you have a puncture.

The optional extra TPMS will give you live tyre pressures in the VC and live temperatures. It’s pretty cool, I’ve selected it.

What colour have you gone for? If you do decide to change it, there shouldn’t be any pressure required just tell your dealer you’ve spoken to a customer of Audi with an Exclusive order being built as we speak and that you know they can request to change it.

I like the idea of the optional TPMS over the standard, it's not a deal breaker though. Just annoys me that Audi seem incapable of putting all available options on their configurator.

I've gone for Porsche Riviera Blue

It is annoying yes, it would probably only take them a few minutes to update it too.

I've emailed the dealer again to request that our Mag Ride and Sports Exhaust options are swapped for the Sports Pack, so as to include TPMS. I'll be interested to hear his response when he's back at work tomorrow.

It won’t be an issue if your build hasn’t gone into Preparation, then it’s too late.

Preparation is 2-3 weeks before build.

Did you get this sorted? I received my revised order form through today with the amendment made.

Not yet, appears he doesn't work Friday as I got an out of office. I appreciate that it's probably not that straight forward to amend due to the exclusive paint and that apparently as soon as the factory receive the order it's "locked in," but does seem a little farcical when it's not being built until January.

It’s true, Exclusive orders can’t be altered.. they take more planning.

But an application to the Exclusive department at the factory can see certain aspects changed, worked twice for me.

As the video element of the tracker is still down (strangely, apart from the paint shop), I have two questions:
- Does anyone that has successfully been through the tracker process have the videos?
- Or, are there any Web geniuses that can find a work around to get the videos?
