Drizz, have i missed something whats the donor boot for?
Incase the first went tits up
Now you see them:
Now you dont:
And i now have my handsfree fitted, but blew my Concert in the process (so if anyone has one for sale.........)
ahh you not gonna use the roof spoiler?
Cant get it off....
Heh i did suggest it would be a better idea just to use the RS4 tailgate
Not really cos that would involve rewiring. I can just buy another spoiler.
The B5 RS4 spoiler can't be removed from the tailgate, without breaking it.
are these spoilers bonded to the tailgate then?
too true, i think summin needs to put there to take away the main focal point of the number plate, like aragon said it mite look a bit bland, good job so far though mate fair play!! looking forward to seeing the rest of the project
Its staying badgeless
fair enough haha so wot exactly your plans for the car then mate? new to your thread so only catching up wit your progress
You actually circled it above. I did this to make the number plate stand out so if no badges help this then all good LOL
S4 bits, big turbo, lowered Full miltek thats about it....
You going for a proper 'BIG TURBO' (££££) or just something bigger than your K03s mate?
I think that looks ace... nice work!
Needs the 4-rings though.
Certainly draws attention to the VRM Drizz.......I reckon it'll look alright once it's all shiney
Just a T28 fela....
Cheers mate, but im staying badgeless....
Sold the BBS's so its back on standard rims:
Last sand down prior to paint:
And the wheels come back. Not 100% but OK for now:
The reason being i want them black and a vinyl wrap LOL because this aroused me LOL:
And my turbo on the right, and a T28 on the left
...looks just like my desk at work?! (turbos on previous page)
Youre right! i robbed it to show the difference! Still googling specs before i buy a T28
As long as it's ready for the next 1/4 mile ASN meeting mate so we can have an A4 1.8T sprint challenge
Lee what times did you run at GTI?
I didn't mate.. I didn't risk the bleed valve as it kept confusing the ECU with the MAF values not adding up! Didn't want to risk frying the engine.
The Chipped UK map only peaks at 0.9 bar so it wouldn't have been much of a contest.
150shot of nitrous?
Or perhaps what you need is a second T28 and another 4 cylinders
You're a V8 pimp!!
I think I'll settle with 260+HP, 4 cyl and 1 T28 for now lol
V8, 2 Turbos, >500hp =
To quote a mate: "less than 400hp makes baby jesus cry"
Well the boots done, i love it
And the rear quarter lacquer peel is all sorted too:
Went to polish the wheels up today. Well peeved off. Its all youre fault Damo!!!!!
LOL im only kidding you matey even though you recommended the place LOL.
I werent happy with them the first time they come back as the faces felt like sandpaper, so i complained and they picked them up to redo them.
I payed extra to have the insides done and TBH i dont even think theyve been touched. I feel well and truly mugged off TBH, but even so im not going to complain again. If he cant sort them twice, is there a point him trying again. No i dont think so....
Heres the pics:
So as you can see theyre pants! Dont use this guy for anything!
Shame the wheel guys didn't deliver.
However, the tailgate looks great!
so it wasnt a proper wheel re-furb, how much did u pay to get them done?
Yep they advertise as such. £200
Boot looks excellent mate.. top quality work.
tyres on rims yet?
Wheels are shocking, Boot is stunning.
May i enquire how much the tailgate costed to be done?
No I really dont know what to do with the wheels as yet.
Boot was a costly mod but for the amount of work that went into it im more than happy to pay it.
£200 for that? They are shocking. They've not even taken the old weights off! Robbing gits. I'd be wanting my money back to be honest... or at least some of it. I pay £160 a set to have them blasted, dipped, etched and powder-coated and they do a SUPERB job - and that's for a set of BBS splits! £140 for one-piece rims.
But... the tailgate work has turned out spectacularly... I'm very impressed with that!
