Hi there,

I have recently just noticed that there is a grinding noise coming form the fron of my brakes. Its more noticable when i come to a complete stop. Its almost like my pads are copmpletly worn and making that awfull metal to metal sound. Also the sqeeek lots when driving around town.

I cant understand, its a 53 Plate and done 11k. All the pads have loads or wear left??? Is it possible to fry your pads after a good thrash??

Im taking her to the stealers tomorrow but can anyone shed any light before i go there?

Cheers

Could have a stone stuck within the brakes............your best off taking the pads out and cleaning the caliper, then put all back together.

It is quite easy to do or get Audi to do it.

thats exactly what i thought so i went down she is booked in on 2nd. I have a big concern tho, cos she is revo'd up the enginner who test drives might notice and void the warranty.

wat do think i should do???
