Hi there , I'm giving the bypass a go on my s3. I've got the guide sorted and it states to use 4mm hose , now I've got some 3mm silicone hose which does stretch nicely over all the connections . Is there any harm in using a smaller diameter hose ? As all it is vacumme and does the same job . Cheers

Cheers bud I thought that would be the case :) I shall crack out the toolbox .

As all it is vacumme

It is vacuum when you are off boost, idling for example. However, when you are booting it up the road at maximum boost just bear in mind that the hose, in fact any hose off the intake manifold, is under full boost pressure whatever that is on your car.

and before anyone starts i am not saying that the silicone hose won't be up to it, i too have used plenty on mine. just suggesting to bear in mind that it is not vacuum only.
