Econ sometimes will turn off but other times it wont

Sometimes my econ on the climate control will turn off by pressing the button but recently it has started to refuse to be turned off. Is there a genuine reason for it to be stuck on or is there a fault somewhere? Cheers

It usually means your due for a regas IIRC....
Might be wrong but there will be someone along to correct me if im wrong ....or im pretty sure they'll be numerous threads about the same issue in the search field!

Your probably right mate as when the temperature is set to low its not very cold at all. Any idea on how much a regas is? Cheers!

It generally means there is a fault in the pressure in the system, it's often due to low gas, or maybe a fault in the compressor. Have a look in the Aircon forum, but THIS will start you off.

EDIT a recharge will be in the region of £50.

Kwik Fit boys were doing an offer here in leicester a while ago for £25 regas.Ask them, you never know...
