Hi all,

I think I've finally settled on the type of tails I'd like to fit to my 2000 A3, but does anyone know if they exist anywhere outside my imagination??!! :)

I'd like to fit something like these oe type facelift lights:

but with the clear/silver bit smoked. I've been looking everywhere, but all I've been able to find is these somewhat nasty LED numbers from In.Pro:

Does anyone know does anyone make them in a more conventional bulb format? I don't want to do a bodge job with sprays, so might just get the In.Pros if there's nothing else, but I'd rather something that looks a bit better!

Thanks!

Those second ones with the smoked silver bit looks w@nk! dont do it! Facelift all the way... or if they did those LED ones without the smoked bit then they might be interesting. I like the fact they look like the standard facelift lights but at night would show the LED's... shame about the smoked section though.

you could do the smoked bit yourself, its not that difficult

Thanks for the replies lads! I prefer to keep things OE, and the regular facelifts would fit the bill, but there's something about the clear section I don't like, it's too bright or something! My car is Kingfisher Blue, not sure how the regular ones would look on that. I think I found LED units too actually:

but again I'm not quite sure.....do OE facelift lights come with filters for the indicator bulbs, or do you have to get orange tinted ones?
