Hello, I'm new to the forum, I have a problem that has me desperate, let's see if you can give me a hand. A few days ago the Parking aid stopped working on my A3 8V Limousine Design Edition 1.6 TDI 116 CV de 2018, I put VAGCOM in and it tells me that the control unit is not coded, the code appears: Coding: 0000000000

I have seen that someone on the forum has published a code for this unit which exactly matches my: Part No SW: 5QA 919 294 B, the code that has been published is: (0471155811) I have tried it and it does not work, I have I have made some modifications since my car does not have an automatic transmission and I have tried several combinations, for example: (0471155841, 0471155801, 04711558C1...), but impossible, all of them tell me that it is out of range.

I have tried listening to all the sensors in the car and they all have sound, so I rule out that it is the sensors themselves.

I don't know if the same thing could have happened to any of you.

Thank you so much.
All the best.

invalid data record = you wont be able to code the control unit until this is resolved. Suggest visiting a specialist with the needed software to flash the correct parameters back to it.

Thank you very much for your prompt response. Is it common for this to happen? I parked the car and it was working correctly, when I started it again after 2 hours the message came up.

Not common at all. This normally happens when 1) someone is trying to retrofit / install a module and uses incorrect software or 2) when a module goes faulty. I think your problem is the latter

Yes, it seems that the module has failed. When I go to the workshop I will put in the diagnosis. Thank you.
