I've had the recall letter. If I got Audi to check the connector would they see my ASR valve controller?
No because it’s the little access panel they pull off. Not the lower cill trim.
Excuse my ignorance guys, but exactly where in the interior is this fuse carrier?
ThanksLeft hand side of passenger area under the glove box to the left you will see a small removable piece of trim.
It can be removed by hand.

Yes of course I took the trim off but like Dnwc mine is different again. I just didn't get my head right under to take a pic which is now attached
Hopefully someone would explain what to check please
Job to do, when I get back home from holsJust checked
This is the connector with the red tab
If it’s extended down to the floor it’s not in the locked position, hence Audi concern about it not being plugged in correctly
Put your thumb on it and push upwards if it’s in the locked position it’s fine and won’t move

Did the check yesterday, looks locked in. Also checked on the above link - no recall on the system.Apparently the recall is for models manufactured between 2019 and 2023. Not had anything for mine yet……checked on here and it says no recalls found, so perhaps not everyone - https://www.audiwarrington.com/check-vehicle-for-recalls.htm
But it's a complimentary service... what's not to like?I don’t understand why dealerships can’t understand why customers do not want a car wash. Drives me insane, along with a bit of anxiety, despite the numerous notices I put all over the car. Hate it.
Had the recall notice, despite Warrington Audi check saying no recalls. Can’t get it into Crewe Audi until early November for a while I wait booking. Also had to fight my way through their complimentary wash offer……..those signs will be plastered all over the car again! Does anyone on here know of anyone’s car (RS3 or otherwise) where the fault has been found or even to the point where the car has cut out?
I just got the recall for this. Did anyone get it done while-u-wait? It's a reasonable trip to the dealership so I'd rather not be doing it twice.
Excellent, thanks. That's what I wanted to hear. Just enough time for a free coffee and not enough time for a free car scrub!Yup.
Pulled up, Audi tech took the car looked at it, thumbs up, drive away after 5mins.

I was going to rely on my inspection too, such as it was but soon after my daughter got a letter too in respect of her '22 Q2. I was also very worried that if we did not have this carried out by Audi themselves this could come back to haunt in the future - you really need to have this inspection carried out by Audi and noted on your Service History. So we booked both cars in, had both cars super-washed inside and out and had some MMI questions answered too. Had my A3 TFSI e charged up FOC tooI’d already checked it myself but it just tied up a loose end, I was gonna wait until the inspection service in December if I hadn’t rang them.

Yes until you cause a crash on say a busy road/motorway and it's due to the non-fully inserted plug. Insurance companies will not cover. But if you want to take the risk then of course it's down to individuals
Just saying
Don’t forget some of these cars are years old and have been running around long before Audi detected there may be an issue.
Comes down to how confident an owner is in doing the visual / pull check themselves, I am, but there are some owners that won’t be able to.
