Hello everyone,

I've been lurking around this forum a while and I've been contemplating a brand new S3 sedan, as it seems to embody everything I like about clean design, small footprint, decent practicality and a sporty nature. However, coming from RWD cars (an older BMW 5 series and a more up-to-date Lexus GS), I'm wondering if the FWD-biased driving dynamics will be up to my liking? Is the S3 sufficiently neutral in its handling?

I've been sitting on the fence also due to waiting to see what the facelifted version of the S3 will look like. Not so much in terms of appearances, but mostly interested to see if the engine will get a slight upgrade. And what about the torque splitter that the Golf R has, yet is missing here? Think we'll actually get it this time? Failing that, would it be possible to perform a retrofit for that part?
