Hello guys
I am looking for the part number of the DRL module inside our pre-facelifted A3 with Xenon
I would like to replace the original ones with the ones from LED headlight that has the switchback to turn signal
I can only find the facelift ones online but those look different then mine
I thinj that there are 2 modules in each unit but it could also be one 1 with 2 direction in the corner.
I would really apreciate it if someone can tell me the part number from either of them

hey guys, since you're on the topic, would anyone know if the plug in the back on the xenon and the Led headlights is the same? basically would replacing the xenon and led lights fit each other's plugs, or do we need an adaptor?
 
Ppl selling on ebay but still expensive it will cost you £800 and up.. ‍

What do you mean "boards"
You mean ballasts?
You have part numbers printed on it
1st is Hi Beam LED ballast
2nd corner LED
3rd DRLs LED

I know these. The ones that I need sits inside the headlight. You need to open the headlight assembly to change them

It isn't just heatsink
I actually corrected above
This is Hi beam LED controller ballast and it is used in other A series headlights too

But I think you after is rare.. Above I posted are only lower level headlights with only DRLs LEDs..
Those headlights from 1st post are higher level used in RS3 sportback or saloon from 2013 to 2016 and To get a LED boards hmm it will be very difficult..

The thing is that it's not faulty. All I want is turn signal on the DRL strip. I don't want anything aftermarket. I wanted to go with original. And I don't have any pictures from the original module. All I can find is from facelift. The one in the picture with part number:

That's why I asked maybe some of you know the part number from pre-facelifted xenon and led headlights. The asswmbly looks the same and I think that the DRL Modules inside can be swapped
I know a guy that installed a3 facelift drl module on a A4 B8.5 but he did cut and glue some things to fit

Oh so want to upgrade Xenon LED indicator that you can have turning lights in DLR orange right ?
Well, I would assume, that closer match would be same as facelift board they look same on top only bottom is changed...
Edit: But looks like the board is wider and the connector has more pins so your cable won't fit 5 pin connector vs 8pin

I was thinking about the facelift board but even between facelift xenon and led headlight, those boards look completely different. I would imagine mine looks different too
I can find that connector with 8 pins online. Only has 3 more wires, 12v, ground and amber signal

audi upgrades
I would definetely buy those. They look and perform amazing but they are not TÜV conpliant. Neither is what I want to do but they can't tell if I messed with the headlight

But thanks for the info. If I don't find anything else I will try with the board from facelift and go from there

Those are the actual board. One next to the projector and one at the bottom. No readable part number
Maybe someone can tag DjAlix, he knows for sure

Guys, does anybody knows if I have to buy the exact door knob for mirrors? I need one that has the heating function but the ones for A3 are quite expensive. I found one that looks the same (I think) but is for Q5, A4, A5 2008-2015 also with 4 pins. Do you think this might work?
