Just done a puddle light 'upgrade'. I'd chosen quattro rather than the rings when I collected.

Now thanks to eBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314893864965, I have this:

I'd say the S3 ones aren't as bright as OEM, but for the price, I'm not complaining!

Yeah l started off in the 3rd in 1975 and was with them until we amalgamated with the 2nd in 92! I was then with 2nd from 92-02 and 05-07. I finally hung up my boots in 2011, if l was a betting man we must have served together given that you’re located in Cornwall!‍

A couple of flaws in the paintwork that my detailer will address when it goes in for Ceramic Coating but other than that - very impressed with the build quality!

Picked up my Merlin Purple S3 last week

Very nice to see some individual colors. This one is indeed very good looking. I like almost all the red wine like hues.

Thank you, it’s a hard colour to photograph and capture the pearlescent effect but as soon as the sun comes out will upload some better pics.

Havent fitted my AP archguards yet - but they look great on your car!

Who makes the gear surround as that looks like a raw carbon effect and better than the one I saw on ebay!

Just had a ceramic coating applied using Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light - needed a 2 stage machine polish in a few areas but very pleased with the result!

Unfortunately my keyless entry isn’t working with a short circuit in the boot so it’s into the Audi garage for a couple of days next week to get that fixed
