Hi all, havent been in here in ages. used to own an S3 but made the big mistkae of buying a BMW. anyway... My dad has a TT 8N. Recently been having issues with his speedo, it stopped working for some time so removed the cluster and checked for any broken cables. all looked good so refitted it. since refitting the speed is working again however now when stationary the needle points directly down. so underreads by about 15mph. when i'm doing 30mph the speedo reads 15mph.
i'm guessing the speed sensor is ok as it wouldnt read at all? unfortunately i havent got VCDS anymore
