Hi will a standard towbar setup from a A4 B6 AVANT work on a B7 AVANT?

Mines an b7 sline se with twin exhausts like in the Ebay listing https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333382448960
Only a guess but I would say it probably would. The attachment points are possibly be the same.

No I'm waiting for some advice first before I jump in mines an sline as well would that make a difference not sure if it came off one I'll message the salvage place.

I need to sort out the heat shield as well in the rhside muffler as its dropped and rattling as its rotted round the fixing points and dropped. Some big washers would sort it need to have another look.

I would think the mounting points would be the same just if the towbar control module was the same also for the electrics?
A towbar like that is going to mean quite a cut to the rear valance. I can't help too much about the electrics, my loom was already wired in, and mine's a Westfalia removable.
why not get a price for a new westfalia detach neck from P F Jones, they do very good online prices and you may find its a better option in the long run as the ebay one doesn't include the neck either.
I agree with Rob, a Westfalia detachable is a far better investment and invisible when not fitted
