A5 3ltr Tdi 2016 yellow steering light on

Hey!
So I have a 2016 A5 Quattro and the yellow steering warming light is on. Came on after driving on a pavement and been on since. Tried calibrating steering but got no where. Any helpful tips!? Garage said I need a new rack at £1900

Maybe your garage told what error codes your car modules throw?

Could it be the steering angle sensor?
