Just out of interest how many miles have you done on them?
My go to for oe quality is always trw. Cheaper and normally comes with sensors, fittings, bolts etc.
I would go for Pagid, Brembo, TRW, Textar.
They are top brands for brakes, reasonably priced and better than OEM ones in terms of brake dust.
TRW is what Audi use on fronts. Where is best place to buy at a good price?
Thanks
autodoc.com. Use the app. You get better discounts on the app. delivery is a bit slow, around a week as it comes from Germany.

Looks right but don’t quote me on it.
See if you can cross reference the Audi part number to it.
Stay away from Brembo pads.
I had ordered a set and they rattled like crazy and it was loud when going over bumps etc.
There was no shim or jacket built in.
Took the hit and ordered a set of TRW pads and have not looked back.
I’ll always recommend OE where possible, the photo shows what the Brembo pads were missing.....
Had 53000 on the clock when the alert popped up. It was cheaper to get the rotors and pads
Zimmerman rotors.

Might cross reference the spec of the pads and ask Audi over the phone. Thanks mate.
I’m running Brembo on the back of mines and not had any issue. They are far quieter than the OE ones I had, due to the brake dust which got annoying. They still had quite a bit of meat on them when I changed them.
Our mechanic always had problems with VAG cars with electric handbrakes if using anything but OE pads , front not a problem but rear a real pain , from memory this was 4 A3s , 2 A4s , A5 , 2 golfs , and 6 Passats

Not trying to sound cheeky but maybe the problem is with the mechanic and not the pads.
I’ve used cheap euro **** pads and all the brands and Audi oe and not had any problems. Some pads don’t have new shims or fittings so you need buy new ones or refit old. I always get new ones or just buy brands like trw and the come with everything.
What is the norm here for pads changes vs mileage? im on 49K now with original pads all round.
Perhaps , but the pads would wear out in less than a thousand miles , albeit this was around 4 years ago he stopped using aftermarket so maybe tolerances are better now.
