Hello Guys First Audi Today !

Finally bitten the bullet and am test driving an A7 today. Its a 2014 S line. With 38k on 248 bhp ?
Full Audi history.
I've never even been in one before but from the day i saw one l knew I had to have one. The car that finds you ?
They want just short of 18k but are giving me a good deal on my old car.
I cant fault the photos or spec so far.
So I'm quite keen.
I've beem lurking around here for a while but this is my first post.
Guess I'll be here a lot more now!
I'm going over to Dace German Cars in Stockport to test drive. I'm in Leeds so I'm a bit worried to start with.
But the righr cars are hard to find !

I don't really know what I'm looking for but low miles from a dealer I'm hoping I'll be alright?

Good look & lets hope it's a good one. My son collected a 16 plate S5 coupe a couple of weeks ago,went from North Yorkshire to Yeovil to get the colour/spec he wanted. Some times you just have to do the miles.

Good luck Mick. You will know if its 'the one'. I found mine after testing just one other before it and they were streets apart with regards condition etc. First one only 40k miles but in poor condition. The second one 58k miles but mint condition and one hell of a spec list! Ended spending more than I intended to but it most certainly was and still is the right car and I'm so pleased with it.
Hope it all goes well and if you buy her then don't forget to upload some pics because we all love ogling A7's on here

Wow ! What a car.
But 50 miles from the dealer the low oil light/safe to drive message!
Rang up, they suggest to put a litre in tomorrow.
(Crikey its expensive).
I'm sure it will be fine but at £18k it
shouldn't be happening
I'll keep you guys informed.
I know how these forums work lol

What oil should i put in?
I have no idea what oil has been used?
I dont like the idea of mixing brands?

Long life 5W-30 Should be ok Mick. Buy 5 litres,works out cheaper. Double check with the handbook.

I’m surprised the dealer didn’t carry out a PDI on the car before releasing it.

Is there service history with the car?

Oil usage is normal, and it’s about 1 litre from Min to Max on the electronic level indicator.

Full service history. Oil was changed the day before I picked it up.
Another bite of Lifes **** Sandwich !
They were very apologetic anyway.
My heart did sink when the dash lit up on the M62 !
Yes I bought some correct oil and it was sorted.
