Really wonderful when you've got a 2003 Euro 3 slack default 3.00 limit in reality blows 1.00 but a fake emissions 0.60 VIN !

Funny thing is with the maintenance on mine it still generally blows lower than most and mine has no cat or EGR, still get a friendly MOT just to be on the safe side, oh and on the move the car smokes like a chimney but fortunately they don't test for that.

My local MOT garage said they just wont run the risk now of passing cars with modified or no DPF's , they have too much too loose, better to fail a few than loose their licence etc.

Next car I get will most likely be electric, sick oh the government moaning about diesel and petrol, by the time I have an electronic car they'll be saying hydrogen, solar or wind power is the way forward... I mean I'm sure many of us here are old enough to remember how cheap diesel used to be, the lower/no tax and advert after advert after news broadcast of how much better diesel was for the world and the customer.
